The "Trapped Ion Manipulation" group is headed by Professor, Academician Nikolai Kolachevsky in close collaboration with a team of senior staff scientists who lead individual projects.

Our labs are located at the P.N Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Our experiments center on qunantum computing with trapped ions. We develop several platforms to investigate scalability of trapped ion systems and feasibility of achieving high 2-qubit gate fidelities.

We also have projects in related topics, such as quantum metrology and quantum sensing.
