The "Trapped Ion Manipulation" group is headed by Prof. Ilia Semerikov in close collaboration with a team of senior staff scientists who lead individual projects.
Our labs are located at the P.N Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Russian Quantum Center.
Our experiments center on trapped ions, which we manipulate using laser light, with the ability to precisely control the states of individual particles as well as collective states.
We also have projects in related topics, such as quantum metrology and quantum sensing.
